1. PRAY FOR AN ABUNDANT RELEASE OF GRACIOUS WORDS
Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
I BELIEVE MANY PEOPLE IN JESUS DAY WERE HEALED AS HE SPOKE
“No one ever spoke the way this man does,” the guards replied.
2. PRAY FOR HEALING IN EVERY MEETING
He went down with them and stood on a level place. A large crowd of his disciples was there and a great number of people from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coastal region around Tyre and Sidon, who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by impure spirits were cured, and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all.
3. PRAY FOR HEALING IN ADVERSE CIRCUMSTANCES
LET THE HEALING POWER OF GOD SPEAK FOR US.
3.1. HEALING WHEN WE ARE THREATENED
Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
3.2. HEALING WHEN WE ARE TRAPPED
JESUS IN THE SYNAGOGUE
The Pharisees and the teachers of the law were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see if he would heal on the Sabbath. But Jesus knew what they were thinking and said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Get up and stand in front of everyone.” So he got up and stood there. Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?” He looked around at them all, and then said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He did so, and his hand was completely restored. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were furious and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus.
3.3. HEALING EVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF JUDGEMENT
The Lord will strike Egypt with a plague; he will strike them and heal them. They will turn to the Lord, and he will respond to their pleas and heal them.
Isaiah 57:18-19 NIV
I have seen their ways, but I will heal them; I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners, creating praise on their lips. Peace, peace, to those far and near,” says the Lord. “And I will heal them.”
Isaiah 57:18-19. NLT
I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway! I will lead them. I will comfort those who mourn, bringing words of praise to their lips. May they have abundant peace, both near and far,” says the Lord, who heals them.
