28 DAYS TO GO

PRESSING ON TOWARDS ALL

PRESSING ON TOWARDS ALL

Anyone involved in the exercise of faith through fasts, prayers, sacrificial offerings, confessions, declarations in the name of the LORD  will gladly and immediately testify that there’s power that gets released through these exercises and things DO change drastically  for the better.   Uplifting stories abound, of healing, timely interventions, deliverance from trouble and promotions. They are an occurrence so common that even the dumbest critics of our faith cannot deny.

However, the enigma remains that though often we see answers there remains mthose battles that look so permanent and unyielding, even the most faith filled among us continue to fight things we wish had been overcome long ago.    And while the confidence generated by answered prayers continues to spur us on, the nagging questions that arise from the undermining delays, insinuations and diabolic defiances of our endeavors can be disturbing especially when weariness sets in and victory seems lost and or elusive.

At this point, the question arises: should we trust that ALL will be alright? or should we just settle for a position that says whatever will be answered will be alright and enough – what does not change, maybe it was just the way GOD wanted it, to teach us something?   What do the scriptures say?   Should we expect ALL our promise based prayers to yield the expected outcomes?

Here are a few thoughts to consider:

1.   GOD HAS DONE IT BEFORE.

The Psalmist was talking about himself in this passage

Psalms 34:6
This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of ALL his troubles.

1 Samuel 30:19
And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered ALL.

And although there seems to be a standing guarantee that trouble will come, even sweeter is the promise of complete deliverance.

Psalms 34:19
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them ALL.

2.  GOD HAS A RECORD OF CONSISTENCY.

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Malachi 3:6
For I am the Lord, I change not;
therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Joshua 21:45
Not one of ALL the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; EVERY ONE WAS FULFILLED.

Joshua 23:14
“Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that NOT ONE of ALL THE GOOD PROMISES the Lord your God gave you has failed. EVERY promise has been fulfilled; NOT ONE has failed.

3.  GOD HAS IN MIND TO TURN THINGS TO OUR FAVOR.

Romans 8:28
And we know that in ALL things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

4.  GOD HAS A BENEFIT SCHEME THAT SEEMS TO COVER ALL.

Psalms 103:2-6
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not ALL His benefits:
Who forgives ALL your iniquities,
Who heals ALL your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
The Lord executes righteousness
And justice for ALL who are oppressed.

Dear child of GOD, after this list, what more can you face this week that is not covered in this all encompassing love?

In conclusion:   We may have not seen all solved yet, but we dare not doubt, Let’s press on towards all.  After all,

James 1:17
EVERY  good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
