PREPARE TO PROSPER

PREPARE TO PROSPER

PREPARE TO PROSPER

Life was meant to be lived.   Each day feels worthwhile when we see ourselves moving closer to the fulfillment of our GOD ordained dreams.  Fruitfulness was the first commandment engraved on to the human soul by GOD.

Genesis 1:27-28
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY;   fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Sin intercepted that divine directive.   Intrinsic in every human being is the NEED to prosper,   to see progress,  to rest in the fulfillment that comes wrapped in gainful labor – whatever the field.
All human beings with any sense of purpose are either Fruitful or Frustrated – nothing in between! And though our original GOD given edge to make progress was dealt a heavy blow when Adam yielded to sin,   GOD neither gave up on man nor abandoned the original mandate.
People must still prosper!   CHRIST came to restore what was lost

Luke 19:10
for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

So, every soul born of man must be realigned to original intent.   The privilege of the first birth is maximized in the second.   All who are born must be born again into a Blissful existence that transcends all imaginable limitations and hellish suggestions of failure.   True prosperity is possible.  It is achievable,  it is like a glass of cold water on a scorching summer day in the desert.

Let’s uproot all inhibitions:

1.  NOT EVERYONE IS READY FOR WEALTH AND ELEVATION – PROSPERITY CAN RUIN A FOOL

Proverbs 1:32
For the turning away of the simple shall slay them,
and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

Reasons why fools suffer harm when prosperity appears

1.1.          They forget GOD

Job 8:11-13
“Can the papyrus grow up without a marsh?
Can the reeds flourish without water?
While it is yet green and not cut down,
It withers before any other plant.
SO ARE THE PATHS OF ALL WHO FORGET GOD.
And the hope of the hypocrite shall perish,

Psalms 14:1a
The fool has said in his heart,
“There is no God.”

1.2.   They mistreat people and hope to get away with no consequences

Psalms 94:5-9
They break in pieces Your people, O Lord,
And afflict Your heritage.
They slay the widow and the stranger,
And murder the fatherless.
YET THEY SAY, “THE LORD DOES NOT SEE,”
Nor does the God of Jacob understand.”
Understand, you senseless among the people;
And YOU FOOLS, WHEN WILL YOU BE WISE?
He who planted the ear, shall He not hear?
He who formed the eye, shall He not see?

Be kind to people, GOD will be kind to you, even if they seem not to appreciate your gestures of honor and goodwill.    What you do to them, the GOD of seed time and harvest will ensure you Never Go Unrewarded!

Galatians 6:7-10
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

2.  NOT EVERYONE IS ALIGNED WITH THE HIGHWAY OF PROSPERITY.

Psalms 81:13-16
“If my people would only listen to me,
if Israel would only follow my ways,
how quickly I would subdue their enemies
and turn my hand against their foes!
Those who hate the Lord would cringe before him,
and their punishment would last forever.
But you would be fed with the finest of wheat;
with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”

Disobedience is the severest form self delay!   Many claim to be waiting for GOD to act, when in essence, GOD has been waiting for them and o act in obedience to His Instructions.

Key simple instructions:

2.1. Employ the the faith twins to work for you – Prayer and Offerings

Acts 10:1-4
At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion in what was known as the Italian Regiment. He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, “Cornelius!”
Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked.
The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God.

In every conceivable way to the Jew, Cornelius did not qualify for the angelic visitation that would turn his whole life and that of his family the right side up!

He was an Italian – not a Jew
He was a centurion – part of the state apparatus to limit Jewish freedom
He was not in Jerusalem but some place heathen place called Caesaria

But he had GOD send an angel to get the best preacher to unlock the Blessing and usher him into an eternal inheritance. What was the key?   Prayers and generosity!
Misers stay miserable
Givers gain

Proverbs 11:25
The generous soul will be made rich,
And he who waters will also be watered himself.

2.2.  Work as if all you do will be rewarded! – no half hearted engagements

Proverbs 14:23
All hard work brings a profit,
but mere talk leads only to poverty.

2.3.             Keep hope alive – discouragement is a thief of tenacity

Hebrews 10:35
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.

3.  NOT EVERYONE ADHERES TO THE WINNING COMBINATION

Isaiah 1:19-20
If you are willing and obedient,
you will eat the good things of the land;
but if you resist and rebel,
you will be devoured by the sword.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

Romans 9:33. AMP
As it is written, Behold I am laying in Zion a Stone that will make men stumble, a Rock that will make them fall; but he who believes in Him [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] shall not be put to shame nor be disappointed in his expectations.

Be sure of this: as surely as the LORD lives!

GOD’S OWN COMFORT WILL REACH YOU

Psalms 71:21
You shall increase my greatness,
And comfort me on every side.

GOOD DAYS FOR YOU ARE NOT DONE YET

Psalms 27:13
I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living.

THROUGH GOD, YOUR TOMORROW WILL NE BETTER THAN TODAY

Romans 8:18
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

2 Corinthians 3:18
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
